The doorstep Household Hazardous Waste collection is a popular program provided by HHW Solutions. The service is provided as part of a flat fee of $1.10 each month on residential utility bills and offers residents the opportunity to clear out their sheds or garages of hazardous waste items such as paints, batteries, used motor oil, lawn and gardening items, and household cleaners without having to wait for and drive to special events to safely dispose of these items. Pickup days are the fourth Monday of each month and has to be scheduled no later than the Saturday Prior to that Monday. To schedule a pickup, visit the HHW Solutions website. On the website, select "Schedule a Pickup", then select "Lago Vista". The next available collection day will be shown at the top of the page.
