2025 City of Jonestown Curbside Cleanup Day
The City of Jonestown, in partnership with Waste Connections, will host the annual Curbside Cleanup Day on Saturday, June 21, from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
This service is available exclusively to current residential Waste Connections customers residing within Jonestown city limits.
 
Important Guidelines:
~Limit: Each household is allowed up to five (5) cubic yards of acceptable bulky items (approximately 5.5’ x 5’ x 5’).
Items must be placed neatly at the curb by 7:00 a.m. on the scheduled day.
~Items placed after 7:00 a.m. or exceeding the 5-yard limit will not be collected. Residents are responsible for removing and properly disposing of any uncollected items.
Note: Guidelines will be strictly enforced.
 
Accepted Items:
Household bulky items such as stoves, water heaters, furniture, washing machines, dryers, etc.
Air conditioners, freezers, and refrigerators (must be tagged to verify CFC removal by a certified technician)
Bundled brush (securely tied in bundles, each no longer than 4 feet, no thicker than 4 inches in diameter, and weighing no more than 40 pounds)
 
Unaccepted Items:
Hazardous materials: gasoline, motor oil, paint, chemicals, flammable liquids
Medical waste, including needles and syringes
Tires, car batteries, large metal objects (e.g., car fenders, engines)
Used oil filters, toxic or hazardous waste
Construction and demolition debris, including:
concrete, rebar, dirt, sheet rock, rocks, excelsior, gypsum board, metal, rubber, and wood products
Animal or human waste
