The Volunteers were organized in 1987, when a group of individuals recognized the needs of residents in the area. The desire was and is to provide a supportive network of services for neighbors of all ages. Our motto has always been Neighbors Helping Neighbors. Our services are designed to enhance the quality of life, maximize the ability to meet ones own needs and to prevent premature institutionalization. Durable medical equipment is loaned free of charge to anyone living in the area served by Travis County Emergency Services District #1. The Volunteers gratefully accept donations of medical equipment and supplies. We are a 501(c)(3) organization. Tax deductible financial donations are used to purchase any additional needed equipment and supplies.

To request services or for additional information call 512-267-1567. We are an all-volunteer organization so appointments need to be made if you are either borrowing or returning equipment.
